Fring Setup

Click here for the list of compatible phones.
  • Browse to fring.com on your mobile
  • Click download fring
  • Click Yes to install
 
  • Select place to install
  • Installation in progress
 
  • Click Ok
  • Click Continue
 
  • Select Wifi or 3G connection
  • Select New User if you're new to fring
 
  • Key-in a User-ID, nickname and password of your choice
  • Key-in your email address and click Next
  • Existing fring user key-in User-ID and password
 
  • Select SIP
  • Select Other
 
  • Key-in your gNumber as User-ID
  • Key-in your PIN number as Password
  • Key-in Proxy Address as sip.skyetel.net and click Subscribe
 
  • The setup is done and click Next
  • Select from your contact list to place a call
 
  • Select SIP call and press Ok button
  • Follow the international dialing format and press Ok button
 
  • The call is placed
  • You could also place a call by dialing a gNumber
 

Additional Setup
  • Click Options->Settings->Connectivity
  • Click Settings
 
  • Select 'Wifi first' to switch between Wifi and your 3G connection as available
  • Select 'Wifi only' if you don't wish to use 3G
